About Bosque Sound Community
A long-term original music project created and led by bassist, composer and bandleader Miloš Bosnić — realised through the work of changing ensembles and collaborators.
The project
Bosque Sound Community was founded in Belgrade in 2015 as a framework for Miloš Bosnić’s original compositions. Rather than remaining tied to one permanent band line-up, it has developed through a series of ensembles whose instrumentation changes with the needs of the music.
Across four albums, the project has moved from a five-piece jazz-rock setting to a quartet, an expanded ensemble combining jazz instrumentation with percussion, brass, strings, voices and orchestral colours, and a six-piece line-up built around bass, keyboards, drums, percussion, flute and soprano saxophone.
The name Bosque Sound Community reflects that structure: one continuous body of original work, created and led by Miloš Bosnić, and realised in collaboration with the musicians, engineers, visual artists, studios, labels and presenters involved in each period.

Miloš Bosnić
Miloš Bosnić is the creator, principal composer and bandleader of Bosque Sound Community. He performs on bass or bass guitar on all four albums and has shaped the project’s musical direction since its founding.

Escape from Urumchi
Six connected compositions form a continuous instrumental narrative for quartet.
Shambhala (Fantastic Jazz Suite)
The project expands to percussion, brass, strings, voices, vibraphone and contrabassoon, recorded at Studio Digimedia and the Belgrade Philharmonic Concert Hall.
12 Angry Mushrooms
A six-piece line-up records five extended compositions, released by A.MA Records as part of its Serbian Wave series.
Live continuation
Live activity includes Jazz in the Garden and the 41st Belgrade Jazz Festival. Personnel are credited by event and period, not as permanent membership.
